Play it seperately from Origin. Hi guys, I'll start off with some background information about the situation I encountered. (skip this part if you want) I have an original retail version of Dragon Age Origins from years ago, and I have had some DLC unlocked prior to even getting involved with Origin (the program).

I downloaded Dragon Age 2 (with everything all DLC) via Steam. I played this game like mad years ago, on 360. When I saw the "everything" edition for $7, I couldn't pass it up. I downloaded it, installed it, then tried to play. Sure enough, EA and their "you must sign up with/install origin" b.s. strikes. after searching for 10 hours today i finally got my game working in these 7 simple steps it will literally take you 5 minutes or less (depending on how compu
The first task is to install the EA App and download the game files: First switch over the desktop mode, launch your web browser and download and install PC version of the the EA app here . Open Steam, click 'Add A Game' in the bottom left corner and select 'Add a Non-Steam Game'. Click 'Browse' and navigate to you downloads folder by
This mod is opted-in to receive Donation Points. This is an UPDATED version of the original tool that patches all the DLC (including the Warden's Keep abilities) so they import properly to Awakening. Should work with all DLC and all localizations as well. I copied and pasted the original tool's description, but edited a bit. HOW TO USE THIS TOOL:

So, I downloaded Dragon Age 2 through EA Desktop and Xbox Game Pass. The game doesn't come with the DLC, so I bought it via Origin. Since you can't buy the DLC through EA Desktop for some reason. However, I have no way of installing the DLC to Dragon Age 2 for whatever reason.

Ex. : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\redist 3. Windows key + R to open the Run app, type "Services.msc" in the dialog box, enter, look for "Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater, right click, and click "Start". After that is done, I recommend doing the following if you haven't already done so before:
I purchased the Ultimate edition on Steam and used the CD keys to activate the product on Origin. The activation worked and all the DLC came up on Origin as installed, yet when I launched the game, nothing appeared in ANY of the DLC tab, they were empty, and the 'other campaign' option in the menu was greyed out, and I was unable to select it.
I just finished Dragon Age Ultimate in Steam, including all DLC's. I'm planning to delete the game data since its about 25 gig. How do I back it up just in case I plan on playing DA2 someday? Is it automatically backed up by EA servers? If I download DA2 on Origins, will it be able to recognize my saves on its cloud system?
Reason: The game still is limited to using 1 - 2 gb of RAM since it was originally released. Due to newer graphical settings, DLC and various tweaks found in the present version the game requires more RAM than it was designed. The method shown in the tutorial is the correct way to apply the 4gb patch on Steam. 4. Get the game through the EA App.
On PC, promotional items are also available for free under "Extra Content" in Origin. ". I followed the link that lead to the Dragon Age Keep website and logged in to my here EA account. From there, I navigated to 'Dragon Age' Origins -> Rewards and claimed everything there was to be claimed for my Xbox Live account (which is linked to the EA
DAO game detail only show satinalia stuff, in game the available content shows nothing, and patch 1.05 I already installed, fixed my unauthorized problem but didn't make the dlc actually appear in the game.
I have purchased ALL the DLC'S for Dragon Age Origins and Awakening along time ago. I downloaded all my content from the Bioware Social Network, except Feast Day Gifts,Pranks.Stone Prisoner, and Blood Dragon armor. On the far right column it doesn't say PC etc ,it just shows ----- a line.In Game it fails to download. All my other dlc are installed. I feel the pain from there not being the DLC included, as well as the fact that you can't use the DA Keep to import choices to DA2. I played Origins and all the DLC on PC 10 years ago. I only have an Xbox now and I really wanted to play DA2 then Inquisition. But I can't import my DAO world state into DA2. I would have to play DAO on Xbox all ojzX34.
