I've gotten to the point in tuning of my 701 that I'm limited by the stock injector (420cc) - it is running 100% duty cycle which is not manageable for long term nor do I have any room for future upgrades. I'm looking to upgrade to something in the 480-500cc range but am having problems finding reference to what would fit in these bikes.

I called the local KTM dealership and put a deposit on a 2016 690 Enduro R. She arrives tomorrow, and the sumo wheels arrive next week some time. In addition to riding a plated dirt bike for fun and adventure, I also rely on the bike for commuting to work daily through the city. The 690 just seems to be the perfect bike for that. I can't wait!

My main problems with my 690 is the turn radius is brutal, tight tight single track can be an issue, and it really does have too much power in my opinion. I'd never go back to the 650 though. Better modulate your clutch; you really have to be good with the clutch and throttle; it only makes 70 HP.
